NICK GABRIEL
TEACHING
Gabriel has taught master classes on the topic of auditioning for institutions such as Georgetown University, Colgate University, Temple University, Oberlin College, and Lewis and Clark college, among many others. Gabriel also teaches workshops and master classes throughout Europe and is a member of the Associate Faculty at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan. He has taught courses exploring the pedagogy of Michael Chekhov at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, at Theatre of Changes in Athens, at Kunst Uni Graz in Graz, and to the professional actors of Schauspielhaus Graz.

He was also an Assistant Professor at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he taught acting to aspiring opera singers.
 
As A.C.T.'s Lead Teaching Artist, he conceived, implemented, and developed curricula for a variety of A.C.T.’s world-class education, community, and professional development programs, several of which continue to flourish. Gabriel led a partnership between ACTsmart and 826 Valencia that culminated in the publication of an original, semi-autobiographical monologue compilation written by continuation high school students entitled Arrive, Breathe, and Be Still. 
 
He is a former theater arts curriculum assessor for the New York State Education Department.
